Head of Product

Jackpocket’s Head of Product will ensure our line of products continue to advance the company’s KPIs and overall vision. The Head of Product will work with key stakeholders to build, maintain and execute on the company’s product roadmap. The Head of Product will collaborate with the CEO and CTO to ensure Jackpocket’s technology stack remains cutting edge, while still maintaining the best user experience. The role will align company strategy and innovation through technology and a data-driven mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage the product roadmap
  • Define launch timelines and release goals
  • Build a deep understanding of our users through a data-driven approach including market research, customer interviews, and usage studies
  • Work closely with marketing, analytics and engineering teams to understand business performance and key opportunities
  • Implement processes that both improve quality and speed of the development process
  • Communicate and get cross-team buy-in on product vision and roadmap
  • Define and analyze metrics that inform the success of products
  • Ensure new product features and updates are delivered reliably, efficiently, and to full specifications
  • Champion a data-driven approach to decision-making

Qualifications

  • 5+ years demonstrated B2C mobile app experience
  • Strong track record of success in building, managing and scaling products in the B2C mobile space
  • Strong understanding of user retention, engagement and monetization drivers, including experience managing products monetized with in-app transactions and / or subscription
  • Deep knowledge of customer desires and behaviors
  • Metric driven building experience
  • History of shipping products in a fast agile development using SCRUM methodology
  • Highly skilled in creating user stories that match company KPIs
  • Major UI/UX experience
  • Experience leading and mentoring product managers
  • History of building and grooming tactical product roadmaps
  • Dedication to pixel perfection when designing user experiences
  • Deep knowledge of technology stacks
  • Deeply analytical mindset and metric driven
